They’re celebrating in Baton Rouge! Guaranty Media’s 104.5 ESPN is the toast of sports radio in the state after the station racked up three awards at the Louisiana Association of Broadcasters Prestige Awards event on Thursday night.
Afternoon host and program director Matt Moscona found himself walking to and from the stage a lot. His show won best sports show. He also won an award for best interview. He and morning show host T-Bob Hebert shared an award for their digital video show Whiskey & Wine.
The three trophies picked up by 104.5 ESPN do not account for even half of the wins by Guaranty Media stations. The cluster had a big night.
“I’m floored that Guaranty Media received a record 8 awards with each of our four stations winning at least one award,” VP and General Manager Gordy Rush told BSM. “Our entire staff at 104.5 ESPN Baton Rouge continue to do big league stuff despite our market size of 77 and hats off to T Bob Hebert and Matt Moscona for being recognized with several awards.”
