WWE has announced that WrestleMania 39 will go down as the most successful event in company history.
The wrestling promotion says the two-night, sold-out event in Los Angeles set a global viewership record. The audience for Sunday night’s event eclipsed the previous record by 33%. Saturday’s coverage saw a 28% growth of the already standing record.
With an attendance of 161,892, WWE brought in a gate of $21.6 million, breaking the previous high by more than 27%.
Additionally, the company secured more than $20 million in sponsorship revenue for the two-day event, which more than doubled the past best performances.
On social media, more than 500 million views and 11 million hours of video were consumed during the event, which is a 42% increase compared to 2022.
