Media Matters continues to leak videos of Tucker Carlson discussing various topics before and after his former television programs on Fox News. Buck Sexton believes they’re not landing the way the organization wishes they would.
On Tuesday, Media Matters released its latest video of Carlson, showing him moments before Tucker Carlson Tonight begins. In the video, Carlson shared that he believed the network was being infiltrated by liberals.
“If you’ve got pronouns in your Twitter bio, you shouldn’t work here because we can’t trust you, because you’re on the other side,” Carlson says in the video. He later says disgraced former Fox News executive Roger Ailes “would never put up with this shit”.
During The Clay Travis and Buck Sexton Show Tuesday, Sexton argued that the continued leaks have had the opposite effect than intended.
“They’ve been releasing — and this is something, by way of full disclosure: Clay and I both know Tucker and like Tucker personally, so I’m not pretending to be unbiased with all this stuff, but everything they release about him I’m like ‘Oh yeah, this is Tucker being Tucker’,” Sexton said. “A lot of it makes him seem really relatable and even funny and charming.”
It isn’t the first time Sexton has addressed the videos coming out from Media Matters. Last week, Sexton admitted the leaks aren’t something he and Travis have had to worry about because they inherited a trustworthy team from radio legend Rush Limbaugh.
