Houston-based radio host Michael Berry has curiously aired every episode of Tucker on Twitter, in its entirety, on his program. On Thursday, he explained why he is making that choice.
“Earlier this week, Tucker Carlson released episode number seven of his new Tucker on Twitter. And we have — for the first six episodes — amplified his message by exposing it to our audience. I’m very well aware that some of you have seen those already. And that nobody’s complained, but that for some of you, you’re going ‘I already saw that. I don’t want to listen to that’, but I also know that some people won’t, and his message is powerful.
“So this is kind of our F-U to Fox News that you can’t silence people by firing them, because content is king and it’s important. And number two, it’s our way of saying, ‘We’re going to bring you the best content we can, even if that’s not content we created because the bigger cause is more important’.”
Berry has previously argued that Carlson is in a better position on Twitter than he was on Fox News.
“We live in a brave new world,” Berry said earlier this month. “Technology has, in that sense, democratized content and content is king. People will find it.”
