WCBM has selected Baltimore-based podcaster Wayne Dupree to host their Sunday afternoon show.
Program Director Sean Casey emailed other candidates, informing them that Dupree was chosen due to his extensive social media following and prior experience as a fill-in host for former WCBM host Tom Marr.
Dupree is a media personality based in Maryland who specializes in providing insightful analysis to his audience on topics such as culture, entertainment, and local and national politics.
WCBM 680 is a heritage AM station located in Catonsville, Maryland. Casey recently recruited Kim Klacik, a former talk show host at WBAL who left the Hearst-owned corporation.
The lineup features live and local shows from 5 a.m. to 12 p.m. It recently parted ways with Derek Hunter in favor of Klacik, a popular personality who attempted a Congressional run as a Republican candidate.
