710 WOR host Mark Simone has had a longstanding issue with the Sunday morning political shows on broadcast television. He’s tired of a perceived bias against former President Donald Trump and believes the slights are intentional.
“If you watch the Sunday shows you would have no idea what’s going on in America. I don’t know why I still watch. I’ll give Chuck Todd credit. He did mention some of the Biden stuff. That ABC Sunday show, that is the most corrupt show on television,” said Simone to open his radio show Monday. “And this Jonathan Karl is the most corrupt anchor I have ever seen. For one hour, if you’re watching this — this is supposed to be ‘This Week’, it’s supposed to be about what happened during the week and get you caught up on the developments in the news of the week.
“All you saw was one hour of Trump hatred. ‘Trump’s indicted, Trump’s going to jail, Trump’s going to prison, Trump’s this, Trump, Trump, Trump’, for the whole hour. Every guest was a Trump hater. And that’s the hour.”
Mark Simone then said none of the Sunday morning political affairs programs — outside of Todd’s Meet The Press — never has anything negative to say about President Joe Biden.
“You work hard all week. You don’t have time to listen to talk radio or follow everything. And you’re depending on this Sunday show for your news, you would never know about this Joe Biden stuff,” lamented Simone. “Jonathan Karl should be arrested. There should be some kind of law that if you’re gonna call it a new show, you have to actually present all of the news.”
Simone’s comments come a week after he publicly questioned why he still even consumes the product. “It’s just getting worse and worse and worse,” he previously stated.
