ABC Audio Inks Deal With AdvertiseCast For Podcast Sales

ABC Audio has announced a multiyear deal with Libsyn’s AdvertiseCast to handle all sales for the outlet’s podcast division.

The new partnership will “position ABC Audio’s award-winning podcast portfolio for continued growth,” according to a joint statement from the companies.

Previously, podcast sales for the network were handled by an internal sales team.

“ABC Audio’s podcast business is flourishing, and we’re poised to make several exciting content announcements this fall,” said ABC Audio Vice President Liz Alesse. “We’re thrilled to have AdvertiseCast in our corner as we expand our podcasting footprint even further and take this business to new heights.”

ABC Audio’s podcast portfolio includes the ABC News podcast Start Here, which has taken home a pair of Edward R. Murrow Awards in back-to-back years.

Previously, ABC Audio had announced that Compass Media Networks would serve as its advertising sales partner for its news radio division.
