A couple months removed from CEO Bob Iger saying Disney could sell its traditional TV assets, the company has reportedly engaged in exploratory talks with Nexstar Media Group about potentially selling ABC.
The interest on the part of Nextar is preliminary at this point according to Reuters, and sources familiar with the matter said no deal may come out of these early discussions.

ABC consists of the national TV network and eight regional stations. Additionally, there are affiliate agreements in place with around 240 local stations.
Nexstar has two national networks in the CW and NewsNation. It also owns 200 local stations.
