Studio shows on FS1 continue to attain new levels of record viewership coming off of a record-setting Super Bowl, which is considered the most-watched television program in American history with an adjusted average final viewership of 115.1 million households.
The daily studio lineup has remained steady in the afternoons over the last year following a schedule adjustment that moved First Things First to the daypart. This modification has resulted in precipitous growth for the program hosted by Kevin Wildes, Nick Wright and Chris Broussard.
The afternoon show just attained its most-watched month ever, which is up 113% year-over-year. Moreover, six of the program’s top-10 most-watched telecasts aired over the last month. Overall, the show has had 13 consecutive months of double-digit YoY growth, with every month in the new timeslot surpassing the one previous to it.
Following First Things First is Speak, the remodeled program featuring Joy Taylor, LeSean McCoy, and Emmanuel Acho, and the studio show continues to set records. Last month accounted for its most-watched September ever, up 77% YoY and its most-watched month in general since January 2020. Viewership of the program has steadily grown since the debut of the revamped show, with data from Nielsen Media Research indicating an 11th consecutive month of YoY growth in the slot.
Preceding both programs, Colin Cowherd and Jason McIntyre bring their insights and perspectives on The Herd, which is also simulcast across FOX Sports Radio. As for its performance on FS1, the show just tied its most-watched month ever and is up 39% YoY.
These figures account for the 10th consecutive month of YoY viewership growth, a significant achievement for the program as it faces new competition from The Pat McAfee Show across ESPN’s linear and digital platforms.
