The Fast Lane Leads 101 ESPN in St. Louis Summer Ratings Book

The summer ratings period was a kind one to 101 ESPN, with several of the station’s weekday programs securing top-five finishes.

In weekday prime (M-F, 6A-7P), the station grabbed 6th overall with Men 25-54 thanks to a 6.7 share. That number was two shares higher than the brand’s spring ratings performance when it finished 7th overall.

The Fast Lane was 101 ESPN’s top-performing show for the quarter. The afternoon program hosted by Anthony Stalter and Jamie Rivers grew to an 8.1 share, good for 3rd in the market. The show finished with the same ranking in the spring. However, the 8.1 share is up from the 7.0 share it garnered the previous quarter.

In morning drive, The Opening Drive with Randy Karraker, Carey Davis, and Brooke Grimsley scored a 4.3 share, up from a 3.4 share in the spring. That 4.3 figure represented a 7th place ranking in the target demo.

Tim McKernan’s one-hour midday show produced a 6.8 share, marking a 5th place finish. The numbers showed a large jump for McKernan, who finished the spring book in 9th place with a 4.1.

The midday duo of Brandon Kiley and Alex Ferrario reeled in a 7.8 share from 11a-2p. Similar to McKernan’s show, BK & Ferrario finished 5th for the book. They registered a 4.6 share, 9th place finish during the spring book.

St. Louis’s other sports station 590 The Fan did not appear on the Nielsen report this quarter.
