New Jersey 101.5 Plans Town Hall on Green Energy and Electric Cars

New Jersey 101.5 has announced plans for a special town hall broadcast on the future of electric cars and the role green energy will play in the state’s future.

The town hall will explore the state’s plans to move away from fossil fuels and its intention to ban the sale of gas-powered cars by 2035.

The station’s Eric Scott will lead the discussion of “Flipping the Switch: Are You Ready?”.

“Will New Jersey really ban gas-powered stoves and cars? There is a lot of misinformation about the state Master Energy Plan,” Scott says. “This program will help New Jersey residents understand what the plan involves and if the goals set out by Gov. Phil Murphy are even attainable.”

Joining Scott on the panel includes New Jersey State Senator Vin Gopal, New Jersey Coalition of Automotive Retailers President Jim Appleton, CharEVC CEO Pam Frnak, State Director of Environment New Jersey Doug O’Malley, and Deputy Chief of Government Affairs for the New Jersey Business & Industry Association Ray Cantor.

The special broadcast will happen on Thursday, October 26th at 7 PM. The broadcast will air not only on the FM radio signal, but also on the station’s website, YouTube channel, and its free app.
