Fox News CEO Suzanne Scott and President Jay Wallace commended several staff members for their exceptional work covering the Israel conflict. Network leaders specifically praised the outstanding reporting of Greg Palkot, Mike Tobin, and Lucas Tomlinson as they covered crucial regions of Israel.
“Dear colleagues, after a harrowing two weeks of coverage in Israel, we wanted to extend our appreciation and recognition of the many employees we have in the field who have been working around the clock under excruciating circumstances,” an internal memo stated.
“Steve Harrigan’s arrival in Beirut last week strengthened our coverage further, and he delivered his usual remarkable reporting. Maddy Rivera is there for Fox News edge as well, delivering crucial coverage for Fox affiliates,” the memo read.
“Additionally, John Roberts just finished a weeklong assignment of excellent anchoring at all hours with Trace Gallagher is now on the ground for Fox News at night and all major programming.”
The note from Wallace and Scott also specifically highlighted the work of correspondent Trey Yingst and his team, saying “We’ve all been in awe of their tremendous work”.
Fox News says the hard work that had gone into covering the war has been widely recognized and received well-deserved acclaim throughout the company.
“Needless to say, we are extremely proud of the entire on and off-air team we have in the field, each of whom are reporting the first draft of history on this monumental story.”
