After hosting the latest Republican Presidential Primary debate last week, NewsNation is celebrating its strongest showing in its short history.
Nearly 1.6 million viewers tuned into the debate, which was moderated by SiriusXM’s Megyn Kelly, NewsNation’s Elizabeth Vargas, and Washington Free-Beacon’s Eliana Johnson.
In primetime throughout the week, NewsNation saw an average of 288,000 total viewers. That figure saw the network jump from the 61st most-watched cable network to the 28th place in primetime.
The network’s viewership increased by triple-digits in the coveted 25-54 demographic, seeing an uptick of 181%, while CNN and Fox News both saw a 6% decrease in total viewers throughout the week. Newsmax saw a drop of 4% in total viewership for the week.
The network launched in March 2021 and features a primetime lineup of Chris Cuomo, Dan Abrams, and Ashleigh Banfield, among others.
