ESPN Re-Signs Nicole Briscoe to Multi-Year Deal

A longtime fave at ESPN was just locked up for a few more years. Nicole Briscoe, who hosts SportsCenter, Baseball Tonight, among other ESPN properties, signed a new, multi-year extension to remain at the WorldWide Leader. Briscoe will officially cross the 20-year marker during this contract, something she doesn’t take lightly.

“Longevity is not something to be taken for granted, especially in our business,” Briscoe said. “I’m excited for about the future and look forward to finding new ways to challenge myself professionally.”

Briscoe has hosted SportsCenter since 2015 and recently moved from daytime and weekend editions of ESPN’s signature news and information program to the late-night edition. She expressed sincere appreciation for her role on SportsCenter. “I love our team of smart, funny, invested pros who share a passion for sports and storytelling,” Briscoe said. “It’s a job but it never feels like work.”

Nicole Briscoe began her ESPN career as part of the company’s NASCAR coverage. She has continued to cover motorsports, switching to Formula 1 in recent years. She emphasized her enthusiasm for covering Formula 1 and her involvement in Baseball Tonight.

“I find immense joy in covering Formula 1 and being part of Baseball Tonight” she said. “Our business is always changing. There’s always a chance to grow as well as carve out new roles and find additional opportunities.”
