Howard Stern Denies Questions Were Planted By White House During Biden Interview

Howard Stern recently hosted President Biden for a sit-down interview on his SiriusXM show that was much maligned by conservative — and even some liberal — media members. He’s not pushing back against the criticism.

Some have argued Stern only asked questions approved and planted by the White House, which he strongly denied. Liberal podcast host David Pakman gave Stern kudos for the interview but mentioned a question from “The King of All Media” about a recent change in policies forcing commercial airlines to offer refunds instead of simply credits for canceled flights was a question likely planted by Biden’s handlers.

Howard Stern argued the question came from a pre-show production meeting with the show’s producers.

Co-host Robin Quivers then noted that if the White House were scripting questions for the interview they would have likely been much different than the questions from Stern.

“You’ve gotta f—ing be kidding me! First of all, we controlled all the audio,” Stern stated. “My whole goal was not to sit there and talk politics. I’m not into that. I don’t want to debate policy … My only agenda? I would like to get to know the President because I suspect he’s a very meaningful, very thoughtful guy.”
