Mickey Ryan, who was hosting in mid-afternoons with former Tennessee Titan Blaine Bishop on 104.5 The Zone in Nashville, announced he has decided to pursue other opportunities and that his time at the station has come to an end.
Ryan posted on his X account and said, “After almost ten years, my time at 104.5 the Zone has come to an end. It has been an absolute privilege to work here and I’m beyond thankful for all the opportunities I’ve had. To all our great sponsors and listeners: You have been so supportive to me and I will be forever grateful. Thank you.
“To the amazing people I got to work with: Thank you for your friendship and support. You are the best!
“While an offer was extended and wishes expressed for me to stay, I have prayerfully made the decision to seek out my next opportunity, whatever that may be. I’m truly not sure what is next, but I know God is with me and will lead me to the right thing. I love and appreciate all of you.”
Ryan is also a musician and songwriter and was also an associate director of athletics at Arkansas State University.
