“We couldn’t be happier with the successful launch of Jim’s show” Brett Weitz, Head of Content, Talent, and Brand Sales at X told Deadline. “As X continues to evolve into a video first destination at the epicenter of the world’s most dynamic conversations, we’re able to give creators like Jim ownership and autonomy to build a completely new fan first experience while also allowing him to connect with his audience in a much more tactical way. Even after 35 years of being in front of the most passionate sports audience on a daily basis, he now more than ever, has the ability to socially engage with his guests, curate topics in real time, and deliver to an ever-growing fanbase hungry for the most provocative of conversations. Jim has unlocked a deep bench of fans, and fandom, on the platform and we can’t wait to watch it continue to grow.”

Rome’s daily three hour show streams free on his X account, @jimrome starting at 12 p.m. ET. His radio show has not changed as it continues to air across the country on various radio stations as well as Audacy and Westwood One’s Infinity Sports Network and on SiriusXM.

“An enormous day in The Jungle as for the first time in show history, we are streaming the radio program live and we are doing it on the X platform,” Rome said to kick off the first show. “Despite being in this business since the late 80’s when I got my first radio gig and despite working a decade or more each at ESPN and CBS and FOX, I have never ever streamed live programming before this very moment.”
