1130 WISN morning show co-host and producer Gregory Jon has given an update on social media after undergoing surgery related to his cancer diagnosis last week.
On X, Jon informed listeners and followers that he underwent surgery to remove his prostate Thursday morning. There was a positive update as he revealed that the cancer had not spread to his lymph nodes which were biopsied by his doctors.
“Cancer sucks. Just got back from surgery. I had my prostate removed yesterday morning by my rock star urologist Dr. Arman Cicic from Metropolitan Urology Group and says he got it all. He biopsied a couple of lymph nodes but feels confident it didn’t spread,” Jon wrote on the social media post.
Jon works alongside Jay Weber on the morning show on the iHeartMedia Milwaukee news/talk station.
