The news/talk genre remains well represented in the Triton Digital podcast rankings, with Dan Bongino rising a spot in the top 10 during the month of June.
The Dan Bongino Show moved up a spot to the sixth overall podcast in the Top Podcasts By Weekly Average Downloads category according to Triton.
The program from the Cumulus Podcast Network is one of several from the news/talk format featuring top finishes. NPR News Now (1st), Up First (2nd), and Dateline NBC (3rd) all featured top-five finishes in the same sector.
Following Bongino’s show was Pod Save America (9th), The Megyn Kelly Show (13th), The Charlie Kirk Show (18th), and The NPR Politics Podcast in the top 20.
Several programs saw jumps during the month as The Clay Travis & Buck Sexton Show moved up three spots to finish 23rd. The Shawn Ryan Show was up 13 places to 26th, while the Armstrong & Getty podcast grew five places to 39th. Breaking Points, distributed by iHeartMedia, jumped seven spots to finish 55th.
The top podcast publishers by Sales Networks were iHeartMedia, SiriusXM, NPR, Wondery, and Audioboom, with Audacy Podcast Network dropping one spot to sixth.
