Tuesday night saw a star-studded speaker lineup at the Republican National Convention, but those high-profile politicians failed to reach viewership totals from the previous night. Despite the drop, Fox News still saw higher-than-normal viewership.

According to Nielsen, the second night of the conservative party’s biggest event drew just under 15 million viewers, with 14.8 million tuning into the coverage across ABC, CBS, NBC, Scripps News, CNN, Fox Business, Fox News, MSNBC, Newsmax, NewsNation, and PBS.

Both of those figures represent slight drops compared to the opening night of the event as more than 18 million watched on Monday with just under 7 million viewers consuming the content on Fox News.

CNN jumped past MSNBC on Tuesday evening with 896,000 viewers compared to 804,000. In the adults 25-54 demographic, Fox News led cable outlets with 830,000 viewers compared to 258,000 for CNN and just 98,000 for MSNBC.

In the 10-11:30 PM ET window, NBC saw 2.29 million viewers, while ABC (2 million) and CBS (1.6 million) also saw strong viewership.

Tuesday’s list of speakers included former Republican presidential challengers like Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL), former Gov. Nikki Haley (R-SC), Ohio businessman Vivek Ramaswamy, as well as Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders (R-AR) among others.
