Fox News has continued its digital success through the second quarter of 2024 as it finished atop several news media metrics during the time period.
According to Comscore, the network led all news brands in multiplatform views and minutes, marking the 13th consecutive quarter leading in minutes and the eighth straight leading in views.
In the second quarter, 9.2 billion minutes were logged across its variety of platforms, with 4.8 billion views. 104 million monthly unique visitors were reached through Fox News Digital.
On the Fox News mobile app alone, 5.7 million unique visitors utilized the app in the second quarter.
For the second quarter, the total views for Fox News Digital were up 1% in year-over-year growth. Meanwhile, CNN, which saw 3.3 billion views, was down 4%. The New York Times had 4.6 billion views, which represented a whopping 27% increase compared to the second quarter of 2023.
Fox News was down 2% in total minutes spent on its platforms, while The Times saw a 33% increase in year-over-year metrics.
During the months of April, May, and June, Fox News saw 77.6 million social interactions, while scoring 507.8 million views on YouTube.
