AM 1300 The Zone has announced WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry is joining Mike Hardge in mornings on the Austin sports talk station.
Hardge had previously been hosting a solo show from 6-8 AM since returning to the station in November of last year. With the addition of Henry, the show will now be known as The Morning Kickoff Show and will air from 7-9 AM.
The 53-year-old Henry spent 25 years as a WWE wrestler after earning a spot in the 1992 Summer Olympics in the weightlifting competition. He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2018.
Henry, who lives in Austin, is also a regular co-host on SiriusXM’s Busted Open program alongside host Dave LaGreca for its Fight Nation channel.
