Clay Travis Cancels Trip to Israel Due to Potential Conflict with Iran

Conservative news/talk radio hosts helming their shows from Israel has been a trend in 2024, and Clay Travis was set to join the group going to the Middle East. That trip is now on hold due to uncertainty in the region.

On The Clay Travis & Buck Sexton Show Monday, Travis noted that he was forced to renege on a planned trip to the country due to the volatility facing it.

“Look, I was supposed to be in Israel broadcasting live, sharing firsthand what it’s like in that country. But with everything going on — particularly Iran, Hezbollah potentially about to attack — all the flights to Israel from the United States got canceled,” Travis revealed. “So I’m still here right now. We are now planning to hopefully be back down there in December.”

Travis’ cancelation comes on the heels of increased fears that Iran is preparing to launch another attack on Israel in the coming days. President Joe Biden has been briefed that details about a potential attack remain sketchy, according to media reports. Those fears led to the stock market plummets Monday.

Sid Rosenberg, Mike Gallagher, and Tony Katz, among others, have all made the pilgrimage to the Holy land to provide news/talk radio listeners with first-hand accounts of what citizens of the country are going through, how they’re responding to the ongoing conflict, and what the future of the region looks like.
