The Kansas City Chiefs honored KKFI’s Lisa Lopez-Galvan with a moment of silence last night (9/6) before their season opener against the Baltimore Ravens.
Lopez-Galven was killed in a mass shooting at the Chief’s Super Bowl victory celebration in February. The tribute included Lisa’s siblings, husband, children, and father.
She had hosted “Taste of Tejano” on KKFI since 2022.

The Chiefs said a moment of silence will not only be a chance to honor Lopez-Galven but all those impacted by the shooting. More than 30 people were injured in the incident at Union Station.
