Randy “Mudflap” Wilcox has exited Community Broadcasters Country WWKY (The Cat 99.3)/Florence, SC. He had been with the station for 12 years and partnered with Ed Palmer, who will continue to do the morning show solo.

Wilcox suffered a minor stroke in the occipital lobe of his brain in 2021 during a live broadcast. He continued doing the show, not missing a day.
Before joining WWKY, Wilcox and Palmer hosted morning cross-town at iHeartMedia’s Country WEGX (Eagle 92.9). They were replaced in 2017 by the syndicated “Bobby Bones Show.”
