Jayson Slade is joining Woodward Community Media’s Appleton/Green Bay cluster as Creative Services Director and on air from 9 am to 12 pm on Top 40 WKSZ (95.9 KISS-FM)/Green Bay. His first day is September 23.
Slade said of his new gig, “I’m thrilled to be starting this new chapter with the incredible team at 95.9 KISS FM! I can’t wait to reconnect with the listeners of Northeast Wisconsin. It’s been too long.”
Slade spent nine years in the market at Midwest Communications Top 40 WIXX (101 WIXX)/Green Bay—Appleton before leaving last February. He said at the time the decision was his telling the Green Bay Gazette, “I just feel right now that it was just time, with the changes we’ve been going through and the new direction, I just felt that it was just time to move on and challenge myself and do something new,”

Slade is the fourth former WIXX staffer to join WKSZ in the past year, following Otis Day, Katie Schurk, and Nick Vitrano.
Slade will continue his role of on-field host at Green Bay Packers games.
