Dave Portnoy: I Won the 670 The Score Producer For A Day Auction and Expect to Be on Show with Dan Bernstein

"I won that auction to be Bernstein's boss for a day. I want to produce his show."

The one-sided feud between Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy and 670 The Score host Dan Bernstein isn’t over. In fact, it has taken a new turn.

After claiming that it was a duty for fans of Barstool Sports to ruin Bernstein’s professional life after a clip of the Chicago sports radio host responding negatively to Barstool Eddie went viral earlier this month, Portnoy took his vendetta against the host and brand a step farther.

As part of a charity fundraiser, the station offered up an auction item that allowed the winner to serve as a Producer for a Day with the station’s midday show. Naturally, Dave Portnoy won that auction. But changes to the station’s lineup have seen Dan Bernstein and Laurence Holmes split up. Holmes is now heard in afternoon drive with Matt Spiegel, while Bernstein remains in the 10 AM-2 PM window with new co-host Marshall Harris.

Portnoy doesn’t care about the changes to the station’s lineup. All he cares about is being able to produce a show Bernstein is hosting.

“Dear 670 The Score I have a question,” Portnoy wrote on social media. “Now that Holmes ditched Dan Bernstein what show do I get to produce? I won that auction to be Bernstein’s boss for a day. I want to produce his show.”

It does not appear as if either 670 The Score or Dan Bernstein have commented publicly on the reaction from Barstool Sports fans or founder Dave Portnoy.

  1. This is not a one sided feud. Bernstein hates Barstool Sports and has for years. This extremely woke looney bin of an individual has what’s coming to him. Good for Portnoy for standing up for his associates.
