Netflix Announces Jake Paul-Mike Tyson Docuseries to Air Ahead of Heavyweight Boxing Event

“The documentary series will take viewers behind-the-scenes of Paul and Tyson’s respective training camps to capture the incredible grit, determination and physical demands needed to prepare for what will be an explosive, can’t miss professional boxing mega-event."

Netflix has announced it will have a three-episode docuseries on the Mike Tyson-Jake Paul fight prior to the event scheduled for Nov. 15. The first two episodes of Countdown: Paul vs Tyson are set to drop on Nov. 7 with the final episode hitting the streaming service on Nov. 12.

The fight was originally scheduled to take place in July, however an ulcer flare-up caused Tyson to have to postpone the fight. Netflix also announced the broadcast on Nov. 15 will start at 8 p.m. ET

The release about the show describes it as one that will give “intimate access to fighters The Problem Child, Jake ‘El Gallo’ Paul and the Baddest Man on the Planet, Mike Tyson.”

The company said, “The documentary series will take viewers behind-the-scenes of Paul and Tyson’s respective training camps to capture the incredible grit, determination and physical demands needed to prepare for what will be an explosive, can’t miss professional boxing mega-event.’’

Tyson, 58, is more than twice the age of Paul, 27 and will be fighting professionally for the first time since 2005. Paul started in his pro boxing career in 2020.
