Cannon and Ritchie ‘TJ’ Beams met while working part-time at KQID Alexandria, LA, in 1991 and later joined forces as morning show partners.

In 1995, they relocated to WZYP Huntsville, AL, before going to “Kiss 95.1” Charlotte in 1998. Despite various relocations, including a move to “Channel 96.1” in 2012, a return to WNKS in July 2022 to host from 9 am-12 pm, and a move to “K104.7” WKQC in May 2024, the show has remained a constant presence in the Charlotte market.
