KCBS News Anchor Liz Saint John to Be Inducted Into Bay Area Radio Hall of Fame

Liz Saint John worked as the Public Affairs Director for CBS Radio for nearly 30 years before becoming a news anchor with KCBS Radio in 2020.

KCBS news anchor Liz Saint John is one of several members set to be inducted into the Bay Area Radio Hall of Fame as part of its Class of 2024.

Saint John joins legends Clarence “Clancy” Cassell, Bonnie Chastain, Frank Knight (AKA Frank Dale Leber), Dick Leonard, Jane Riley, Knowles Robertson and Sam Skinner. Also joining the class are Kevin Gorham (educator), Sandee Althouse (specialty), Richard Sands (management), Kent Hedberg (engineering), and Tom Tolbert (sports).

Liz Saint John worked as the Public Affairs Director for CBS Radio for nearly 30 years before becoming a news anchor with KCBS Radio in 2020. She started her radio career in college, working as a DJ and serving as Music Director at UC Berkeley’s KALX. Previous stops before coming to the Bay Area included stints in Denver and San Diego.

The Class of 2024 was selected by active members of the California Historical Radio Society and previous inductees into the Bay Area Radio Hall of Fame.

The Bay Area Radio Hall of Fame Class of 2024 will be celebrated with a gala luncheon on Saturday, October 19 at the Basque Cultural Center in South San Francisco.
