Earlier this month, nationally syndicated radio host Dave Ramsey featured a sit-down interview with Donald Trump. Bret Baier is about to interview Kamala Harris, and Ramsey joked he might be jealous of the arrangement.
At the time of his interview with Donald Trump, Dave Ramsey revealed he had made pitches to both candidates for an interview, but Trump was the only one who had accepted. He added that he was fine with some listeners being angry that he was interviewing the Republican candidate, saying “It’s something I wanted to do, and I felt like it was something we needed to talk about.”
On Monday, Fox News revealed Bret Baier would host an interview with Kamala Harris that is scheduled to air on Wednesday. During The Ramsey Show, the longtime nationally syndicated host shared that he is looking forward to viewing the conversation.
“You need to go watch Bret Baier tonight. Bret is one of the more level-headed people on Fox. He’s got an interview with Vice President Harris, the one I wished I had gotten,” said Ramsey. “I’m going to be watching it. I’ll recommend that one as well, because Bret’s pretty straight (down the middle).”
Ramsey added that a recent podcast conversation between author and speaker Simon Sinek and President Joe Biden caught his attention, calling the discussion a fantastic interview, one that was better than his interview of Donald Trump.
“I was able to listen to it this morning. It is really good. It’s really good,” Dave Ramsey reiterated. “I did a really good interview with Donald Trump, and if you haven’t seen that, you ought to watch it. But this is better. It’s better. Simon did a better job than I did, to the point that I saw things in Joe Biden that I’ve never seen before.
“I enjoy getting information and perspective on things that I didn’t have. My belief system isn’t challenged because I learned something about someone I disagree with that I actually like. That doesn’t bother me. It doesn’t cause me to melt down.”
