Spotify’s The Ringer has announced additions to its talent roster including longtime ESPN NFL Draft insider Todd McShay. McShay will launch a new podcast tomorrow, The McShay Show, which will have scouting and analysis of the top draft-eligible players in college football, guests from The Ringer and other football analysts. McShay also plans to include mock drafts, player rankings, and coverage of college and NFL story lines.
McShay was previously an analyst at ESPN, where he contributed to several programs on radio and television. He was also a sideline analyst for games and a contributor to ESPN College GameDay.
Others who are being added include Joel Anderson, Kirk Goldsberry and David Jacoby. Anderson will provide audio, video and written content the intersects sports and culture. He has previously been at Slate, ESPN and BuzzFeed.
New York Times bestselling author Kirk Goldsberry is a leading expert in basketball analytics. He previously served as the Vice President of Strategic Research for the San Antonio Spurs. He was also a staff writer at Grantland and ESPN.
David Jacoby, former co-host of Jalen & Jacoby on ESPN Radio, will be the new co-host of The Mismatch, a Ringer podcast focused on the NBA, along with long-time Ringer co-host Chris Vernon. Jacoby will also continue to co-host Food News alongside Juliet Litman.
