Despite it being the final days before a pivotal election in American history, some news media members found the time to take a break from election coverage and celebrate Halloween.

As we’re so close to the election, many of the Halloween costumes featured political themes.

For instance, Salem Media Group host Mike Gallagher dressed up as Donald Trump, the garbage man, after Wednesday’s campaign stunt.

Gallagher shared another photo on social media that said he’d never had more fun at work.

The cast of The Ryan Gorman Show dressed up as the Republican and Democratic nominees for the holiday.

Meanwhile, in Milwaukee at 620 WTMJ, their morning show — albeit reluctantly — participated in the Halloween spirit.

It wasn’t only news media members participating in the costume game. Five students from Billings, Montana dressed up as members of The Five from Fox News, which caught the network’s attention.

Even those that didn’t dress up still participated in the fun, ranking their favorite Halloween candy.
