Nexstar Media Group has announced that Bill Sammon has been tabbed to serve as the Senior Vice President of Washington DC Editorial Content for The Hill and NewsNation.
Sammon joins the company after previously working as the Managing editor and Senior Vice President of News at Fox News where he was based in the nation’s capital. During his tenure at Fox News, Sammon oversaw the network’s productions of presidential debates and its decision desk.
He has more than 40 years of broadcast and journalism experience, working both in print journalism and television during his long tenure. Bill Sammon is also the author of six books on the office of the presidency, four of which were New York Times bestsellers

Sammon’s first day on the job will be on Monday, November 18th.
