After announcing that he was leaving 104.5 The Team in Albany, Dan Bahl has a new radio home: WEEI in Boston.
The Audacy Boston sports talk station today announced that Bahl has been tabbed as the new producer of WEEI Afternoons hosted by Christian Arcand and Andy Hart. Bahl will produce the show alongside Stiz Grimey.
“Long-time listener, first-time producer! Joining WEEI is an absolute dream come true for me,” Bahl shared on social media. “Thank you to (WEEI Brand Manager Ken Laird) and (Audacy Boston SVP/Market Manager Mike Thomas) for the incredible opportunity to be part of this team.”
Bahl had spent the past three and a half years leading 104.5 The Team, the Townsquare Media sports station in Albany. In addition to his role with 104.5 The Team, he served as the television announcer for RPI men’s and women’s hockey in the region, as well as the National Lacrosse League’s Albany Firewolves broadcasts. His final day with the Albany station was last Friday.
