WBAP Morning Hosts Steve Lamb, Nicole Osei No Longer with Station After Cumulus Media Cuts

Ernie Brown, Hal Jay, Carla Marion, Brad Barton, and Monty Cook remain on the WBAP morning lineup.

WBAP has seen a pair of exits from its morning news show, as both Steve Lamb and Nicole Osei are no longer a part of the program amid widespread cuts from Cumulus Media.

Both had been with the Dallas news/talk station for decades. Steve Lamb — the sports director for the station — had been with the Cumulus Dallas station since 1986. He had previously worked at stations in Oklahoma City and Ponca City, Oklahoma, before joining WBAP. Steve Lamb was inducted into the Texas Radio Hall of Fame in 2019.

Meanwhile, Nicole Osei began her tenure with the station as an intern in 2002. She returned to the station in 2016 after working in local television in Lawton, Oklahoma and also as a member of the Texas State Network News for CBS Radio before her return to the station. She moved to mornings at WBAP in 2017. Osei also previously worked in Dallas as an anchor at 1080 KRLD, the Audacy news/talk station.
