The Pac-12 Conference has revealed that all 13 home football games from Oregon State and Washington State will be broadcast by either CBS, ESPN or The CW. The conference has agreements with these broadcast entities to provide national coverage of matchups throughout the season, which commences on Saturday, Aug. 30.

As the power conference is attempting to rebuild after losing 10 of the 12 schools to other conferences in a mass departure, it has signed these media rights deals and is preparing to add Boise State, Colorado State, Fresno State, San Diego State and Utah State next year. The Pac-12 is currently operating under a two-year grace period to continue existing below the minimum eight members required in a Football Bowl Subdivision conference.

“Having Pac-12 football featured across three leading broadcasters in CBS, The CW and ESPN in 2025 will provide tremendous exposure to showcase Oregon State, Washington State and our brand in the Pac-12’s final season before expansion,” Teresa Gould, commissioner of the Pac-12 Conference, said in a statement. “We are thrilled to continue our partnership with The CW, to welcome a new partner in CBS Sports and to see a return of Pac-12 football on ESPN.”

Two games in the 2025 season will be televised on the primary CBS broadcast channel – Washington vs. Washington State on Saturday, Sept. 20 and Oregon State against Washington State on Saturday, Nov. 1. The primary ESPN channel will broadcast two games during the season as well – Cal at Oregon State on Saturday, Aug. 30 and Houston facing Oregon State on Friday, Sept. 26. ESPN previously showcased Pac-12 football games under a 12-year media rights deal that, combined with FOX Sports, was reported to have a combined annual value of $250 million.

“The addition of the two Pac-12 games expands our primetime college football schedule this season, further strengthening our robust portfolio of marquee and meaningful matchups airing across our CBS Sports platforms,” Dan Weinberg, executive vice president of programming for CBS Sports, said in a statement.

“Adding these games strengthens ESPN’s industry-leading college football slate,” Kurt Dargis, senior director at ESPN, said in a statement. “They deliver meaningful exposure for Oregon State and align well with opportunistic time slots across our platforms.”

The other nine games as part of this deal will air on The CW and be produced by Pac-12 Enterprises. Eleven Pac-12 home games aired on The CW last season and the other two were televised by FOX, which is not part of the media rights deal this time around. All dates and start times for the home football schedule have also been revealed concomitant with this announcement and features games both in the afternoon windows and in prime time.

“We are excited to continue our relationship with the Pac-12 for a second year and bring more Oregon State and Washington State games to our growing audience of sports fans,” Mike Perman, senior vice president of sports at The CW, said in a statement. “Last season’s matchups were some of the most thrilling and most-watched football games on CW Sports Football Saturdays, and we look forward to building on that momentum in 2025 alongside a packed fall sports schedule that includes ACC football games and NASCAR Xfinity Series playoff races.”
