The FCC has revoked the licenses of two Texas radio stations owned by Kremling Enterprises.

Texas Thunder Radio KYKM in Yoakum and KTXM in Hallettsville are alleged to have not paid fees of $14,222.60 over the fiscal years 2017 to 2024.

In February 2025, the commission issued an “Order to Pay or to Show Cause” that it says went unanswered. The amount represents annual regulatory fees, interest, and penalties for missed payments.

With the order, the FCC terminated authority to operate and deleted the call letters from the commission’s database.

The order stated, “The Licensee has failed to pay its regulatory fee debt and does not dispute that it is obligated to pay the debt. We conclude revocation is appropriate.”

The FCC further states that the order does not absolve the company from the obligation to pay. The debt will continue to accrue interest.
