Ben Shapiro: Tucker Carlson, Media Critics of Iran Strike Proven Wrong

“Did you notice all the losing? I didn’t either—because we didn’t.”

In a fiery takedown of war predictions surrounding the recent U.S. strike on Iranian nuclear facilities, conservative commentator Ben Shapiro pushed back on months of dire warnings from media figures like Tucker Carlson and political analysts who forecasted World War III.

Speaking on his program, Ben Shapiro argued that fears of a catastrophic escalation were unfounded and, in hindsight, disconnected from reality.

“Did you notice all the losing? I didn’t either—because we didn’t,” Shapiro said, dismissing predictions that the operation would spiral into a global conflict.

He specifically targeted critics who claimed the Trump administration’s actions would provoke a military showdown with Iran’s powerful allies or unleash mass casualties across the Middle East.

The remarks came in response to commentary from several public figures, including past warnings from Tucker Carlson, who labeled the prospect of striking Iran “suicidal” and claimed it could “set off a war that kills thousands of Americans and collapses our economy.” Shapiro, pointing to the lack of such consequences, criticized what he called “an utter disconnect from reality.”

Shapiro further argued that the success of the mission contradicted a narrative that positioned Donald Trump as a reckless warmonger. Instead, he credited the former president with executing “the most successful foreign policy move of my lifetime,” calling the B-2 airstrike on Fordow “low-risk” and strategically sound.

He also accused isolationist commentators of framing the strike as a betrayal of Trump’s base. “They would rather Iran have gone nuclear than America fly a B-2 sortie,” Shapiro said.

He labeled this mindset as “ideological poison,” warning that such rhetoric could mislead Americans about the country’s security interests.

As the dust settles from the operation, Shapiro’s message was clear: the critics got it wrong, and the results speak for themselves.
