The Associated Press (AP) has selected SoundStack to serve as its partner for its all-news format audio stream for the AP Radio product.
With its content delivery network, SoundStack has more than 12 data centers around the globe to benefit the audio offerings provided by the AP.
“At AP Radio, our focus is on delivering breaking news in a way that is easy for listeners around the world to access and trust,” said AP Executive Producer Ron Vample.
“Our collaboration with SoundStack enables us to enhance the listening experience and extend the reach across digital platforms – ensuring timely, accurate information is available to more people, wherever they are,” Vample concluded.
“We’re honored that an organization as esteemed as the AP has trusted us with such a critical function – the effective delivery of fact-based news to listeners everywhere,” said SoundStack CEO Jon Stephenson.
“There’s a lot out there that can hamper the dissemination of essential information,” Stephenson added. “The mechanics of that dissemination – from preventing outages, to reducing latency, to keeping revenue flowing – should never be a part of the problem.”
