The Joe Pags Show has a new home in San Antonio, as 550 KTSA has inked a deal to broadcast the nationally syndicated show originating in the Alamo City.

Beginning on July 1st, the program hosted by Pags will be heard from 5-8 PM on the Alpha Media San Antonio news/talk station.

Previously, the show was based at crosstown 1200 WOAI. However, Pags was one of hundreds of employees affected by a round of widespread layoffs enacted by the company last year.

“I am thrilled to call KTSA the new flagship for The Joe Pags Show. I’ve been based in San Antonio for 20 years and have always been a fan of the amazing hosts on KTSA,” said Pags. It’s truly an honor to get back on the air in SA and talk with these amazing people on their ride home once again. I can’t thank Jeff Warshaw, Lance Hawkins, Greg Martin, and Dax Davis enough for this remarkable opportunity!”

With the addition of Pags, the station has shrunk The Jack Ricciardi Show from 3-7 PM to 3-5 PM in the station’s lineup. KTSA will also shrink The Lars Larson Show from 7-10 PM to 8-10 PM to accommodate Pags.

“Joe Pags represents everything we value at KTSA,” said Alpha Media San Antonio SVP/Market Manager Lance Hawkins. “He’s dynamic, authentic, and rooted in Texas values. Our mission is to build radio brands that are Live and Local, deeply involved in the communities they serve, and always evolving. Pags’ addition to KTSA proves that mission in action.”

The move by 550 KTSA comes as the station is in the midst of being purchased by Connoisseur Media, along with 206 other Alpha Media stations.
