77 WABC host Sid Rosenberg has one of the most successful news/talk morning shows in the country. That doesn’t mean he’s immune to criticism. Even if it’s from his wife.
During Sid and Friends in the Morning Friday, Rosenberg was discussing a conversation he had with his spouse with Fox News host Brian Kilmeade. Rosenberg admitted that he will frequently be the one to apologize to his wife when he feels like she was in the wrong.
When asked by Kilmeade if that was something he really wanted to admit to his massive audience, which could potential include his wife, Rosenberg didn’t shy away from admitting that one of his harshest critics is his partner.
“In the beginning, I just thought I could say anything,” Rosenberg joked. “‘It doesn’t really matter’, right? And that’s a big mistake. I get about two or three times a week ‘Take that back. Say allegedly. Why would you say that’? And I used to yell at her. ‘Stop listening. Don’t bother me’. But, actually, she’s kind of helpful. She’s much smarter than me. So now I appreciate when she listens and she tells me to do something I usually do it.”
Kilmeade joked that he will field messages from his wife during his show about what topics he covered. However, he said he often doesn’t remember talking about the things that his wife will bring up.
“I’m thinking to myself, ‘Whatever she says next is not going to be good’,” Kilmeade chuckled. “You’re dead. You’re dead. I used to think it didn’t matter. It does matter.”
