Day Two of the holiday PPM markets continue to show that Christmas music won.
Examining the day one results, we found stations in the holiday format grabbing double-digit shares. (BMM 1/29)
The largest market share recorded to date goes to WNIC in Detroit 13.1-18.6
In Boston, WMJX leaped 8.3-15.4
In Phoenix, KESZ grew 12.3-16.4
KEWM Seattle moved 7.3-11.3
KOSI in Denver moved 9.3-12.7
KYXY San Diego nearly doubled 6.6-11.1
KEZK St. Louis scores a huge 9.6-17.4
In Baltimore, WLIF jumped 7.7-12.7
I would expect these numbers to hold through the remaining PPM markets, answering the question of whether the all-Christmas music format played out.
