Lineup changes are coming to Sports Radio 610 in Houston. Although the radio station has yet to make an official announcement, the Houston Chronicle has revealed the details. The newspaper reports that 610 will move Mike Meltser and Seth Payne from middays into morning drive. The promotion for Meltser and Payne helps the radio station fill the void left behind by Nick Wright who left for Fox Sports in April.
With Mike and Seth moving up, that leaves a vacancy in middays. The Chronicle reports that John Lopez from the previous morning show with Wright, will change timeslots and be part of the new midday program. Joining Lopez will be Cody Stoots, and former Texas A&M Aggie, and former NFL special teams star and wide receiver “The X Factor” Dante Hall.
Barrett Sports Media will have a follow up story on these changes coming out on Tuesday when the radio station makes its announcement.
