Charissa Thompson, Brent Musburger and Clay Travis are at the center of a new project for FS1. The three are reportedly being teamed with odds maker Todd Fuhrman for a new show for the network that will focus on sports betting.
Michael McCarthy of The Sporting News was the first to break the story and described what it might look like.
Thompson is based in Los Angles, while Musburger is based in Las Vegas and Travis in Nashville. Thompson’s expected to host a free-wheeling discussion described by one source as an “Around the Horn for sports betting.”
The as-yet-unnamed show will be the first of its kind on basic cable. Most shows focused on sports betting have, until now, aired on streaming platforms. No date has been set for the show’s debut. McCarthy says he expects it to go in the 5pm time slot on FS1 following the revamped two-hour version of Speak for Yourself.
