Around the Horn Gets Makeover for its Sweet 16

Around the Horn is turning 16 this year, and ESPN is celebrating by changing everything about the way the show looks. First, Tony Reali and the show will move to ESPN’s South Street Seaport studios. Also, the show will get a new graphics package highlighted by the use of augmented reality.

The show debuted in November of 2002, and largely has had the same look the entire time. The new set will feature no desk for Reali, a new color palette, and augmented reality presentations of panelists which can be shrunk or enlarged based on their current role on the show.

A second screen experience is also coming to Around the Horn. By watching on ESPN.com, viewers can see panelists’ win totals and other stats relevant to that day’s show. The second screen and new look of Around the Horn make their debut on November 5.
