Vince Carter isn’t waiting for his playing days to end for his media career to begin. This past summer he served as an analyst for Fox’s coverage of the Junior NBA World Championship. In the past he has also covered the Summer League for NBA TV and spent a rehab stint as a guest analyst on the Grizzlies’ broadcast.
Now Carter is dragging his Atlanta Hawks teammate Kent Bazemore along for the ride. The duo is launching a new podcast for The Ringer called Wingin’ It. They will be joined by Hawks digital media coordinator Annie Finberg, and have promised that no topic will be off limits. Finberg and Bazemore previously hosted a podcast with Mike Muscala called Road Trippin’ ATL on LeBron James’s Uninterrupted network.
A statement from The Ringer described the new show as “a behind-the-scenes look at what NBA players think and talk about when their minds aren’t on the court”. The first episode drops on December 3.
