Jason Schwartz is leaving the political journalism world to return to sports. The now-former Politico media reporter will become the new senior editor for investigations and enterprise at Sports Illustrated.
Before focusing on Washington, Schwartz worked at ESPN. He served as a senior editor for ESPN: The Magazine and for the investigative unit at Outside the Lines. He has also written for The New Republic, Grantland, Slate, and the Boston Globe.
