AAF Broadcasters Revealed

The @FakeRudyMartzke Twitter account is breaking news in the sports media world again. This time, he is revealing what broadcasters networks have assigned to cover the Alliance of American Football.

Some of these names are not in it for the long haul when it comes to the AAF’s inaugural season. Spero Dedes, Trent Green, Tiki Barber and Jamie Erdahl will call the first half of an opening weekend double header on CBS. Andrew Catalon, Gary Danielson and Melanie Collins will call the other half. Whether or not any of those broadcasters return for a second game remains to be seen.

The biggest standout here is the number of NFL broadcasters signed up to call the games streaming on B/R Live.

@FakeRudyMartzke may be a silly Twitter handle, but whoever is behind it has a good track record of breaking news. In 2017 the account was the first to announce that Fox had signed Danny Kanell and Les Miles for its football coverage. The account also broke the news of Brent Musberger becoming the radio voice of the Raiders and Ali LaForce joining Turner last year.
