Eric Hasseltine has decided to give up his 2-4 pm slot at ESPN 92.9 FM in Memphis. In an email to his staff, 92.9 program director Brad Carson wrote “For eight years Eric Hasseltine has been a terrific representative and host for 92.9 FM ESPN on the Eric Hasseltine Show while also holding down duties as play-by-play voice for our beloved Memphis Grizzlies. Eric has decided to make his life a bit less complicated and desires to spend more time with his family.”
The station will announce a new mid day show in the near future. Until that time, producer Jeffery Wright will fill-in.
Hasseltine will continue to be heard on ESPN 92.9. He will make appearances on other shows. He will also continue as the voice of the Memphis Grizzlies, who play their games on ESPN 92.9.
